When we look at art in the gallery, we often have many different individual perspectives of what is the art meaning. Some people need help to interpret it, some of them have straight away had understood it, however some people also not very interested and give up to see it. I find it similar ways when I observe how people adapt to the digital business world. There are people have already adjusted quickly and taken it as an opportunity, some of them need some time to adapt with its fast development, and also there are some people that struggle and see it as an obstacle.

This is what I observe in the Digital Business module BEMM129 in the University of Exeter. After finish the modules, I learn about how to be an agile and fast learner human resources in the digital era. Furthermore, I gain perspective of how people have to do to embrace the digitalise business world. Even though the rapid advance of how digital business world evolves raise many opportunities, some part of particular people find it as a barrier for their future. I find me and John Gorman have some opinion in the article “Let’s think creatively” published by Giles O’halloran that we still have found a solution and more support for some people that struggle to adapt in this new digital era. And also I agreed about Yiwen article that the profession of tax professional will not be disrupted by the digital transformation, in fact, it will have the opposite effect if they can using the digital technology as their advantages to make the job becoming more effective and efficient.

Moving forward in the learning process, I gain insight into how to become a professional in this digital business era. Furthermore, I have the same opinion that to become a digital business professional we have to be a “Third Space Thinker”.

Surfing in my classmates’ blog also gives me a motivation to know more about the development of the digital business world. There’s an exciting article from Andi about the evolve of e-commerce and how is Fore coffee utilising the digital business models. Additionally, there is a very good article from Rifqi about how Jenius transform digital banking in Indonesia.

I will look forward to what I got from this module to support my research on how to solve the tax challenges in digital taxation. I hope this knowledge will be helpful in particular ways for me to become a better professional in this digital era.
